Program Details
A Continuing Medical Education (CME) program on “PCOS – Dialogues and Directions” was conducted on 28th September 2024. The program was organized as a collaborative academic initiative involving the Departments of Dermatology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and General Medicine.
The CME focused on a multidisciplinary approach to Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), addressing its dermatological, gynecological, and metabolic aspects. Experts from the respective specialties shared insights on clinical presentation, hormonal and metabolic implications, and evidence-based management strategies.
The interactive dialogue format encouraged comprehensive discussion on patient-centered care, lifestyle modification, and long-term management of PCOS. Emphasis was laid on early diagnosis, holistic treatment approaches, and interdepartmental coordination for improved patient outcomes.
The session facilitated meaningful exchange of knowledge among participants and highlighted the importance of a collaborative approach in managing PCOS effectively.
