About The Department
- The Department was established in the year 2019
- 2 Postgraduate Seats were permitted by NMC in the year 2021
- Postgraduates are being trained with regular seminars, bedside clinics, Journal clubs. They are being given exposure to management of variety of Emergency Trauma/Medical / Surgical /Obstetrics/ Pediatrics /Poisoning
- Training of Under Graduate , Nursing, Paramedical Technicians in identification and management of common Emergencies is being done regularly.
- Continuous quality improvement by actively monitoring key performance indicators, conducting regular audits, and implementing strategies to address identified areas for improvement.
- Enhancing academic excellence with multiple Interdepartmental teaching program, Case Presentation, CPC’s
- Conducted ECLS workshop in coordination with various other departments for the interns.

1. Dr. Spoorthy M has a secured third place in the paper presentation competition held on May 6th 2023 at govt medical college Kozhikode as a part of Emergency Medicine Calicut annual meet 2023.
