Program Details
KSMPCON 2023, the 1st State Level Conference of the Karnataka Society of Medical Pharmacologists, was conducted on 08.12.2023 and 09.12.2023 at Siddaganaga Medical College and Research Institute, Tumakuru, with the theme “Integrated Approach to Patient Care: Navigating Digital Healthcare Landscape.
In association with SIMS&RH Tumkuru, SSMC Tumkuru & SSIMS T.Begur.” Faculty members and delegates from the Department of Pharmacology, Shridevi Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Hospital actively participated in the conference. Dr. Rajesh B & Dr. Sparsha Deep E M were organizing co-secretaries
The event provided an excellent academic platform for medical professionals, faculty members, and students to update their knowledge regarding recent advances in pharmacology, therapeutics, Pharmacovigilance, and patient safety.
The conference included scientific sessions, guest lectures, panel discussions, oral presentations, and poster presentations conducted by eminent pharmacologists and healthcare experts. Various topics related to rational use of medicines, digital healthcare, clinical pharmacology, adverse drug reaction monitoring, and recent advancements in patient care were discussed in detail.
Faculty members and postgraduate students actively participated in scientific discussions and presentations, which encouraged academic interaction and exchange of ideas among participants from different institutions.
The conference significantly, enhanced awareness regarding rational therapeutics, medication safety, and current developments in healthcare practices. Participants gained valuable knowledge about research methodologies, digital healthcare approaches, and the importance of evidence-based medical practice.
The event also promoted academic collaboration and professional development among pharmacologists and healthcare professionals. KSMPCON 2023 was conducted successfully and proved to be highly beneficial for faculty members and students of Shridevi Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Hospital by strengthening academic learning, research interest, and professional competency in pharmacology.
