The Department of Pharmacology, Shridevi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Hospital, organized the  National Pharmacovigilance Week from 17th September 2025 to 23rd September 2025 with the theme “Your Safety, Just a Click Away: Report to PvPI.” The programme aimed to create awareness about adverse drug reaction reporting and patient safety among healthcare professionals and students.

The event was inaugurated by Mr. M S patil, HR & IT and Dr. Mohan Kumar, Medical Superintendent who emphasized the importance of Pharmacovigilance in ensuring safe healthcare practices. The introduction to the programme was delivered by Dr. Rajesh B, highlighting the objectives of National Pharmacovigilance Week and the role of PvPI.

As part of the celebration, students from Shridevi institute of Nursing Sciences & Sri Ramana maharshi Institute of Nursing & Shridevi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences actively participated in a Poster Making Competition and an informative Role Play on adverse drug reaction reporting and medication safety.  The activities encouraged creativity, awareness, and active learning among students.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Ashwini P Singh, who expressed gratitude to the management, faculty members, and students for their support and enthusiastic participation.
