A Free Skin Health Camp was successfully conducted by the Department of Dermatology, SIMS & RH, Tumakuru, on 13th July 2025 as part of an International World Record attempt by IADVL under the initiative “No Health without Skin Health.”

The camp focused on providing free dermatological consultation to patients and promoting awareness among patients and their attendants regarding common skin, hair, nail, and genital health issues.

 Special emphasis was given to educating the public about the harmful effects of steroid misuse, which is a growing concern in dermatological practice.

Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials in the form of patient information sheets were distributed to reinforce awareness and encourage safe treatment practices.

The program witnessed active participation and contributed significantly to improving public understanding of skin health and responsible medication use.
